How to protect our Heart from heart attacks!!!
Heart attacks are caused due to our erratic diet, lifestyle, health conditions, and also genetic factors. You have heard a lot about heart attacks these days, especially since so many people are losing their lives due to heart attacks at a very young age. So why does this heart attack happen? How can it be prevented? How should we take care of it so that it doesn't happen. All these information will be given to you now.
As the name suggests, a heart attack is an attack of the heart muscles where blood flow stops due to blockages. From birth until our death, our organs in the body will work constantly, especially the heart with its pumping activity. Due to this pumping activity blood circulation increases through which oxygen and blood supply will be done to whole body. If pumping activity stops then this process will stop and oxygen supply to brain will be stopped due to which we will not be able to survive. Therefore, we must take care that our heart is healthy and our blood circulation is good. For that, we need to eat foods that help our heart function and adopt a lifestyle that helps heart to work more easily.
People might think that longevity of life does not depend on health, but health is something we can maintain for as long as we live, and it is our responsibility to maintain it. The food we eat or the food we consume is not limited to our tongue or our eyes or our nose or our touch, it is something beyond this. The food we eat should provide all the nutrients that our system requires and also our lifestyle should also play a role in properly digesting the food that we consume, for this it is very important to include physical activity in our lifestyle, Especially walking or yoga increases our physical activity and increases our digestive power. Now people are into sedentary life or hyper active life where both affects the body and pressurises our heart functions. Moderate physical activity, which is about an hour a day, and the quality of food we eat and the good amount of night sleep together can protect our heart.
We should wake up in the morning before sunrise or at least at sunrise. Likewise, our bedtime should be within 9:30 PM. We should stop sleeping during the day. We should stop eating frequently. And stick on to 2 or 3 meals only. We should finish our breakfast within 9 am, lunch within 1 pm, and dinner within 7 pm. If we feel hungry in between, we should consume liquids or fruits. We should drink more water during this time.
When it comes to food, people are increasingly consuming foods that are not good for the body in the name of vitamins, calcium, and zinc. For example, consuming chickpeas every day because they are high in calcium and protein. This increases the acidity of the body and causes problems for the heart. Consuming chickpea seeds every day is not good for the body. Consume them once a month if necessary. Another example - Due to the myth that vegetarians are low in protein, people are consuming more paneer and mushrooms. Both of these are not good for the body, and can also cause heart problems. By consuming foods like this without even realizing it, we are putting more stress on our organs, especially our heart. Not only food and lifestyle, but also avoid bad habits like smoking, drinking alcohol, and consuming narcotic drugs also stay away from medications, treat your illnesses with diet and lifestyle, don't rely on medications.
Ayurveda mentions foods that we should incorporate into our daily lives to protect our hearts. These include Amla, pomegranate, Kokum, Arjuna, and Yashtimadhu, and so on. By using this daily, we can ensure that our heart does not get any diseases. Example - Taking tomatoes increases the acidity of our body, using kokum instead not only reduces acidity, it is also good for our heart and keeps us away from gaining weight. Another example - instead of adding lemon to the food add grated amla at least once a week. This not only increases taste of the food but also good for the heart. Instead of the fruits you eat every day like bananas, oranges, and apples, you can try pomegranates, seasonal mangoes, and a fruit called matulunga (a fruit that not many people have even heard of it). By taking these not only maintain our health and protecting our heart, but also we can live without any vitamin or mineral deficiency.
